Are you bored? Uninspired? Just look around!

This is what I told myself a few years ago. 

​

I am a Marathi, Gujarati, Hindi and English speaking Indian living in Hong Kong for the past several years. Being a trailing spouse in a foreign country comes with several challenges but I discovered that finding inspiration and creative outlet, fortunately, isn't much of a challenge anywhere.

Food inspires, music and words inspire too and above all, there's always nature - the weeds, flowers and bugs!

I started writing regularly in 2018 as a form of creative expression on my social media page. Many friends encouraged me to keep writing and I am thankful to each one of those.  One writeup led to another; the more I looked the more I saw, and the more I could write. Eventually I thought of giving my posts a place on a wider electronic platform as a blog, mostly as a keepsake and for the sake of posterity, but also in the hope that this would inspire someone, sometime to look for inspiration wherever life brought them.

This is my account of finding my joy in the abundance of nature, words, music and culinary adventures in my own kitchen as I carefully walk my own path -  taking care of life's needs, avoiding and at times cherishing the small and big pebbles, and working hard to fulfill my desires.
