Immortal!

A gloomy dark cold week gave way to a relatively sunny and pleasant day today and I dared to step into the balcony to give the poor freezing plants a nice groom, doing away with a dried leaf here and a dead stem there, trying to get them ready to welcome the spring.

"Potato flowers are beautiful", someone told me once. So I had planted a huge sprouted potato in an evidently small pot, since that was the only one I had, hoping for it to flower. It grew a massive stem and some buds but the cold killed it, or so I thought. The buds never bloomed and the stem collapsed under its own weight. I pulled it out of the pot and discarded it heartlessly. I emptied the pot of the dry soil to pull out the remnants of the sprouted potato. And... out rolled two clean shiny tiny potatoes! One riding on the back of the other!

'Stick your hands in soil, get them muddy every day to remind yourself of your mortality', urges Sadhguru. It's a divine feeling when the very symbol of mortality exhibits delightful immortality!
