Such a strange year it has been To see people without a nose and chin

Reading faces and eyes has been such a task All the while guessing what lies beneath the mask

Did the nose under there just twitch? Is the chin under there pointed like a witch?

Do the teeth gleam when the eyes smile? Are there cute dimples there flashing all the while?

When new acquaintances unmask to reveal the guise The nose and the chin under there often surprise

I imagine the teeth to be tall and the chin to be round, I am amused at the grin so wide and the nose like a mound

I wonder if they too wonder about my nose and chin, Such a strange and wonderful year it has been!
